Well, the progress picture is not that exiting, I have knitted further. But folding the jacket gave more an impression on how this will look in the end. I hope the size is right for me, because I think the shaping of the waistline is really nice!

I am also weaving in all loose ends at the same time as I am knitting – you know the technique? You hold the loose end on your left index finger the closest to you, and on the same finger you hold the knitting-yarn. Then you knit one over and one under the loose end.

By the way! As soon as this jacket is done (did I say soon…) I will make another of the knitted hats from our fishing-trip and write down the pattern accurately! It is not forgotten!

I’m not following your description on how to knit in the loose ends as you go but would love to see a picture of something as it sounds like a wonderful solution to keep from going back and endlessly hooking in the ends.
