We have just bought new furniture to our living room. We still miss lamps, carpets, shelves, chairs to the dining table… but we did receive the sofa a few weeks ago, and two chairs this Monday.
And considering the time we will spend here, I will have to make afghans. Not one. TWO! And Fred did really like the Great American Aran Afghan (GAAA) as it can be viewed here. TWO of this! But that will be after I have finished the Mermaid by Hanne Falkenberg.
Did I tell you I have done great savings to my yarn-purchases? By cycling to work and doing a bit of exercise, I have gone from a X-XL to a S-M size. That is many grams of yarn for every new garment I knit 
Because of my intense biking on my inherited bike from my father-in-law, we bought a new bike for me today!!
